Flight of the Amazon Queen
Enjoyable, nothing more, nothing less
This is an enjoyable game, although not as good as the Lucasarts contemporaries this game is trying to mimic. I laughed out loud at some of the jokes, and I think the voice acting for Joe King is nicely done. The voice acting of the other characters is so-so, most of them speaking too slowly. I found some of the puzzles to be a bit tedious, but all in all the game is not too difficult. And since it’s available for free on gog.com, you should really give it a go.

Intriguing story and a great atmosphere!
I loved the intriguing story, that really had me hooked from about halfway through the game. The gloomy, dystopian visuals of this game, together with the rain and the music (when there is music) set a great atmosphere.
The “arcade” shooting sequences were not my favourites, but they do give the game a sense of danger. Fortunately, they are not very difficult.
