Update patches Scratches: Director's Cut
Complete graphic overhaul highlights huge new download

Since the recent release of Scratches: Director's Cut in North America, the updated version of the original Scratches, the developers have stayed hard at work to provide even more enhancements to the new version. Those efforts have now come to fruition with the announcement of a downloadable patch for the game.

The Director's Cut offers many improvements over last year's original game, such as an alternate ending, optional control scheme, an extra chapter and the protagonist's diary, but the developers wanted to make even more improvements that were not finished in time to be included. This patch provides an additional upgrade which Nucleosys describes as a "complete remake" of the original game's graphics.

Weighing in at a massive 500 MB, the patch is available for download at Nucleosys' website. If your internet connection isn't friendly towards large downloads, Got Game Entertainment is demonstrating impressive customer support by offering a physical CD with the patch, delivered upon request. An email with your shipping address and "SDC, CD2" in the subject line can be sent to techsupport@gotgameentertainment.com.

For those who haven't yet purchased Scratches: Director's Cut, subsequent retail releases will include the extra CD, so no further upgrade will be required.
