Dustborn: A Word-Fueled Odyssey Across a Divided America

In the latest gaming news, Dustborn, an exciting new story-driven action-adventure game, is set in an alternate-future Divided States of America, promises to deliver an immersive experience filled with hope, love, friendship, robots, and the power of words. The game's trailer can be viewed here:

Dustborn is available for purchase on Steam.

Set in 2030, three decades after 'the Broadcast', players will step into the shoes of Pax, an ex-con, con-artist, and outcast. Tasked with transporting a mysterious package from Pacifica to Nova Scotia, across the Justice-controlled American Republic, Pax is not alone in her journey. The fanatical Puritans are hot on her trail, the authoritarian Justice is a constant obstacle, and to top it all, she’s an outlawed Anomal and four-months pregnant. To survive this perilous road trip, Pax must recruit a band of misfits and outcasts with the power of words.

Dustborn offers players a unique gameplay experience where words can hurt. Use weaponised words, fuelled by disinformation, in combat and conversations to fight enemies, manipulate strangers, and motivate friends. As Pax and her crew journey across America, they stop at iconic locations in a dozen states, explore strange new places, take on unexpected assignments, meet a diverse cast of characters, enlist new crew members, and fight pursuers. The game features a beautiful graphic novel art-style that brings stunning 2D illustrations to 3D life and an alternate-future Neo-Western narrative with unexpected twists and turns, tough choices, and emotional consequences.
