Latest reviews: Dark Fall, Silver Earring

The review of XXV Productions' Dark Fall: Lights Out from GameZone awards it a score of 7.8/10:

"The story is intriguing, and is better than many recent adventure games, in terms of catching and keeping one's attention. The use of different time periods during the game makes things interesting, with the contrast of objects and buildings from the various times. The puzzles and clues fit in well with the story, and for the most part, don't feel forced, except for the hidden locations of some of the objects."

Meanwhile, Sherlock Holmes: Case Of The Silver Earring fetched a score of 76% over at Gameguru Mania:

"The puzzles are implemented well but can be frustratingly difficult making any progress an even more tedious task. For me, the most frustrating "puzzle" was the ark puzzle. There are two different clues that make up the ark puzzle. The first can be found in animal drawings embedded in the pictures on the wall. However, I couldn't find an animal in the 3rd picture pretty long time Smile The second clue is a poem about Noah that you can only get from solving the Jester puzzle. Also the task of sneaking past a guard and guard dog at night can be pretty frustrating - I had to set both the Contrast and Brightness controls of the monitor to maximum."
