Genuinely funny, but extremely simple
The game starts with a brief and humorous explanation of Reemus’s situation. Killer slugs are coming and he has to stop them. Your task in the game however is to get approval from the Bureaucracy to take on this heroic endeavor.
The interface is very simple. You click on objects and people on the screen to either pick them up, interact, or talk with them. The game knows which one. It feels less like your are solving puzzles and more like you’re watching a flash animation where you need to click some spots to keep it progressing. These are several areas to complete, but each consists of at most three or four screens and maybe a dozen clickable objects. It took me about an hour to finish.
It does have nice graphics and it did make me chuckle, but I think three stars would be too generous. I’d rate the gameplay at 1 or 1.5 and the humor at 4 or 4.5, so let’s call it a 2.5.
