Your Favourite ‘Adventure Gamers’ Threads
I had a memory of a thread I read ages ago and I decided to look it up and I found it quite funny and enjoyable to read.

Is anyone else able to share some of their favourite thread from these forums?
This will forever be my favourite thread on these forums.
(The now-missing screenshot was of Ketch Island in Broken Sword 2.)
Ha ha ha! I remember this being linked to not too long ago and it’s STILL fun to read! Thank you for sharing!

Lambonius and Caliburn analyses and breakdowns, with arguments back and forth.
Too bad former got banned, but their input was more indepth than just post.
I miss those showdowns.
Tim can find some but iirc it were mostly TTG ones.
Lambonius and Caliburn analyses
two different characteristics to the matter, but i agree
my fav was that civilised debate at AG’s Reviews Rating (DEBATE!)
Wow, that Broken Sword 2 thread creeped me out. It never even occurred to me…
PC means personal computer
This thread is hilarious.
I can’t get enough reading this one.
And then there’s the father of them all.
Everybody wants to be Cary Grant.
Even Me.

I can’t get enough reading this one.
If they ever get around to making a movie about AdventureGamers, they’d have to give Advie major scriptwriting credits. I’m glad I got on his “nice” list though.
And then there’s the father of them all.
Ah, 2005. When it was possible to use Are You Afraid of the Dark? and “the scariest game I’ve ever played” in the same sentence. Today it wouldn’t even be in anyone’s top 20.
I do remember that Josh Mandel thread when I was using another handle I’ve long forgotten.
Feels like that happened well before 2008 though. Or perhaps it hasn’t really set in that 2008 was 8 years ago.
I think the big highlight for me was Bastich’s run posting Adventure Game Scenes of the Day. Striking screen grabs and really interesting oddities.
I came for the adventure games.
I stayed for The Thread.

Fun. But kind of depressing none of those users are still around. Where do adventure gamers go to die?

Well, apparently one option is an archived forum. I followed one link to the old forums. I had over 1000 posts there.

Paradise?
Heaven?
Hell?
Limbo of the Lost?
Next Life?
Gone Home?
Ha.
I’ve got a new thread idea.
I just LOVE this thread:

Fran Bow is the best game I’ve played this year and can use a little love!
I enjoy playing adventure games on my Alienware M17 r4 and my Nintendo Switch OLED.
