Adventure Game Scene of the Day - Saturday, 17 October
Seeing the new video from Samorost 3, I was reminded of a simple, free game Anika’s Odyssey, one of my earliest experiences with “Samorost-like” games. The game just throws you in the shoes of a young village girl with no particular background info. And there’s no need for it, as the game is more artistic than narrator-y (duh, like all games of this kind), and wants you to enjoy the enchanting surrounding more than embark on some very hard puzzles, being of moderate-to easy difficulty, and quite short. Still, there’s no reason not to spend an afternoon with it - you might change your opinion on web-based and free games, and more importantly - Samorost-like titles.
Recently finished: Four Last Things 4/5, Edna & Harvey: The Breakout 5/5, Chains of Satinav 3,95/5, A Vampyre Story 88, Sam Peters 3/5, Broken Sword 1 4,5/5, Broken Sword 2 4,3/5, Broken Sword 3 85, Broken Sword 5 81, Gray Matter 4/5\nCurrently playing: Broken Sword 4, Keepsake (Let\‘s Play), Callahan\‘s Crosstime Saloon (post-Community Playthrough)\nLooking forward to: A Playwright’s Tale
Seeing the new video from Samorost 3,
Hadn’t seen that one before. Samorost 3 is getting closer.
