I bought this yesterday at amazon.com:

I had totally forgotten that I still had a gift certificate of US$ 50,- there, and I came across this thingy in a local newspaper. Because my soap pump is in the process of dying I thought this one a nice one to replace it with.

Bought myself a new Kindle

An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.

I splurged on an Escher calendar:

and The Ankh-Morpork City Guide. Everything there is to see and do in Ankh-Morpork and much more is in there, including a map!

What a coincidence! ![]()

I could have put this in the Reading thread too, but I already finished Thermae Romae over the holidays and MYST: The Book of Ti’ana is really an anti-splurge ($5 used copy, and sadly the full-colour map has been removed
). The World of Poo is also Discworld-related, as it ties into the most recent DW book Snuff.
Diabolus ex Machina since 1993
