Adventure Game Scene of the Day — Monday 18 February 2013
I learned an important life lesson from The Dig… If you can pick it up, take it with you because you never know when you might need it.
I thought that only applied to women in bars. If you can pick her up…
The truth can’t hurt you, it’s just like the dark: it scares you witless but in time you see things clear and stark. - Elvis Costello
Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka
Don’t Hate Me Because I Am Beautiful…There Are Many Other Reasons
I tried to play the dig a couple of years ago but didn’t really give it the chance that it deserved. I’ve got some time off work in about 3 weeks, it WILL happen!
I’m on a whole new adventure.
Growing a mustache?
No. Bigger than that.
A beard?!?
Ah, The dig… very different from usual LucasArts games, but I enjoyed it very much.
Very good atmosphere and the sountrack is amazing.
I think Brink has the second place for record-of-coming-back-from-the-dead after LeChuck in LucasArts games.
One of my favorite thing in the game is the transport system. Now, why can’t WE have a TRAM system?!
I am baaaaaaaack!

Meh, the average pet hamster has a tram system.
Light bridges, that’s what I’d like!

Old thread excavation can be fun. That intro reminded me of how great the music is in the game.
Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.
Meh. I you’re going to remake The Dig but don’t fix its ridiculously inconsistent art style, what’s the point?
Old thread excavation can be fun.
Even more fun is the fact that no one used The Dig for the “scene” more than 3 years.
