Adventure game scene… uh, game (continued)
While we’re talking about 1½ Ritter here’s another picture of it:
It quite reminds me of this new picture of The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav.
And that statue looks like Edna holding a cross with Harvey on it.
The games came out the same year (2008), so it could be her (or I’m becoming obsessed with Edna )
Anyway it’s quite interesting how Daedalic likes to show their older games in their new games (especially Edna and Harvey, that could also be seen in A New Beginning and Chains of Satinav)
New screen coming as soon as I find one
Everything you need to know about me has already been told.
And here’s the next screen; another desk:
Everything you need to know about me has already been told.
Black Dahlia (in red)
Everybody wants to be Cary Grant.
Even Me.
-Cary Grant
I was thinking it came from BD but for the life of me can’t think where this scene would come from. It’s definitley not Pearson’s office and I don’t think it’s Winslow’s either and definitely not the cop’s office (can’t remember his name).
Life is what it is.

And…..yes. Is your red color button not working? Anyway, thanks for saving me the time of finding another obscure-ish Black Dahlia screen

I have no idea, I haven’t played the game. Maybe the allknowing Z could answer your question.

You really should have a go SD. It’s one of my all time top 3 & I’ve played it maybe 5 or 6 times which makes it extra galling that I don’t know where in the game it is from. Should have gone with my instincts I suppose.
Well done Z and can you place where in the game it is taken from?

I was planning on playing the game one day, anyway. I have already read the book and watched the movie, so I’d like to play the game also
Oh, and, always go with your instincts, even if you’re not sure.

your red color button not working?
No, it doesn’t work.
Well done Z
Thanks.

Of course. The instant I saw that desk I went “Black Dahlia!” and it turned out to be so. 99 out of 100 times the first answer that springs to your mind (and I’m not talking just about this quiz, the same rule goes for them all, at least in my experience) is the right one.
can you place where in the game it is taken from?
No. Fien (or Trunkyo) is the right person to answer your question.
The latter is notorious for remembering everything about an(y) AG scene.
I’m just good in recognising (pretty) pictures.

I’m usually wrong at guessing these but isn’t that Grim Fandango?

This time you’re right. For a change.

Someone mention me? As for the BD pic above, it’s the desk in Angelo Santini’s bedroom. (Hey, I’m notorious for a lot of other things too, some of which I’m not permitted to list in this family-friendly forum. )

Many thanks. I’m going to have to replay the game as I had to look up who Angelo Santini was in the game. For shame!
Sorry Oscar - not doing much for your scene are we
And no, I’ve no idea on thisd one.
Life is what it is.
