A Vampyre Story: Revamped and Re-released on Steam

The classic point-and-click adventure, A Vampyre Story, has returned to Steam with a host of new features and improvements. Created and directed by Bill Tiller, the game invites players to traverse the gloomy land of Draxsylvania as the gifted opera singer and vampire, Mona De Lafitte.

The story unfolds within the gloomy walls of a castle where Mona, transformed into a vampire by the Baron Shrowdy von Kiefer, yearns for her old life in Paris. After the Baron mysteriously disappears, Mona seizes the chance to escape. The journey back to Paris is fraught with challenges and strange characters, forcing Mona to not only accept her vampire nature but also to use her newfound abilities to her advantage.

The re-release of A Vampyre Story brings with it a slew of updates. The game is now available for a lowered price of $9.99, and to celebrate the update, a week-long 15% off sale is in effect. Various bug fixes have been implemented to improve gameplay on modern systems. The game has been updated to include more languages. The complete list of supported languages now includes, beyond English (voiced): Czech, French, German (voiced), Italian, Polish, and Russian (voiced). The game also boasts compatibility with the Steam Deck, and players can now utilize Steam Cloud saves to continue their adventure across multiple devices. To further enhance the gaming experience, new additions include emotes, backgrounds, trading cards, badges, and improved library art.

With more than 30 hand-drawn 2D locations, over 25 characters, and a real-time 3D "multi-plane" camera rendering, A Vampyre Story offers an engaging and immersive gaming experience.
