The infamous Chicken Police duo is back! Chicken Police: Into the HIVE! has been announced, promising another thrilling adventure for Sonny Featherland and Marty MacChicken. The pair, who became stars following their roles in Chicken Police: Paint it RED!, are once again ready to dive into a tale of loss, friendship, and conspiracies. Chicken Police: Paint it RED! was launched in 2020 and quickly gained attention for its complex interrogation system, mystery-solving detective gameplay, and unique visual style that combines artistic photo manipulation with lifelike 3D backgrounds. It became one of Metacritic’s best 100 PC Games that year, and IGN Japan dubbed it “Game Animal Of The Year” (GAOTY). In 2021, it won the awards for Best Adventure Game at the Chainsaw Game & Music Festival and Excellence in Audio at the Spring 2021 edition of DevGamm!
Now, the developers at The Wild Gentlemen are working with Joystick Ventures to create Chicken Police: Into the HIVE!. As society begins to crumble, Sonny and Marty embark on their biggest case yet – one that will take them into the insect underworld and force them to confront the darkest corners of their past. This game promises to deliver more of the series’s grim storyline, gritty atmosphere, and absurd humor, all wrapped up in a mystery-solving investigation inspired by point-and-click adventures and visual novels. The game is now available for wishlist on Steam.
