Underrated. That’s what I think of Memento Mori, because it was technically polished, gripping story-wise and reasonably long game. Its somewhat slow pace and one-dimensional puzzles could be questionable, but the atmosphere was there. Let me finish with a phrase often heard on Home of the Underdogs - thumbs up!

Recently finished: Four Last Things 4/5, Edna & Harvey: The Breakout 5/5, Chains of Satinav 3,95/5, A Vampyre Story 88, Sam Peters 3/5, Broken Sword 1 4,5/5, Broken Sword 2 4,3/5, Broken Sword 3 85, Broken Sword 5 81, Gray Matter 4/5\nCurrently playing: Broken Sword 4, Keepsake (Let\‘s Play), Callahan\‘s Crosstime Saloon (post-Community Playthrough)\nLooking forward to: A Playwright’s Tale

I agree that it is underrated. The plot is so intricate that I thought that the easier puzzles were an advantage. Did you play through it more than once to get a different ending?

i didnt know there were other endings, to it, the end i reached was kinda of Angel Heart style, and was so stunned by it, but it turned to out that Max has a brother, and then there are (if i remember correctly) the two of them with as children and the old man at the park, i didnt get that really, but it was a great experience. wish to replay it soon.

Nope, but I was planning, too. Frown

I’m a sucker for these kinds of globe-hopping travel mysteries with semi-genuine locations, even if the stories and puzzles aren’t always top notch.

They seemed to be all the rage a few years ago, what happened to them? Secret Files, Nibiru, Lost Horizon, Memento Mori. Did Moebius kill them off? Surely it wasn’t that bad.

The screen shot looks quite nice.

I found the ending of Momento Mori very moving in spite of the game’s flaws.
