OK, I’m not going to repeat what Karlok said, not once, but twice Smile (yes, this is the third Valiant Hearts AGSOTD in one year time - deal with it! Wink ), but let me ask you something: Don’t you love encyclopedias in games?! I mean, isn’t really everything we ever learned about history from Civilopedias?! Chemicus, anyone? MUCH bigger fun than learning chemistry at school! Encyclopedias are NOT for sissies and should not be ignored, you hear that, dear developers?! Ubisoft, I love you, you bring hope to humankind!

Recently finished: Four Last Things 4/5, Edna & Harvey: The Breakout 5/5, Chains of Satinav 3,95/5, A Vampyre Story 88, Sam Peters 3/5, Broken Sword 1 4,5/5, Broken Sword 2 4,3/5, Broken Sword 3 85, Broken Sword 5 81, Gray Matter 4/5\nCurrently playing: Broken Sword 4, Keepsake (Let\‘s Play), Callahan\‘s Crosstime Saloon (post-Community Playthrough)\nLooking forward to: A Playwright’s Tale

This used to be so true. Grin

But now we also have the Wikipedia. Tongue

Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka

Civilization gave all the knowledge I need of world history

Mmm…

But I do like encyclopedias and world history in games, one of reasons I play Assassins Creed

Oh how I love thee Valiant Hearts. You gave me a wonderful history lesson about WW 1, and made me cry. Also you gave me my avatar Walt, the most adorable animal companion in any game period. The Youki in the current Syberia 2 AGCP though is giving him a run for his money.

As a side note, there is a funny story about Ghandi’s aggressive nature in Civilization. The dev team had a bug in India’s aggressiveness, as it was supposed to be very passive, but they found it hilarious that Ghandi will threaten to nuke you, so ever since it has been a running gag in every civ sequel.

Walt wins by a mile in terms of intelligence alone.
