Adventure Game Scene of the Day - Saturday 25 July
NASA finds a new Earth-like planet, “Adventure game scene… uh, game” has a “space-themed week”... more than enough reasons that we should visit Argilus in Schizm: Mysterious Journey, and if Kepler 452B it’s anything like it, then scientist should worry about sending the best puzzlemasters out there.
With it’s 10 GB data in a DVD version, it was the biggest (in size) ever video game at a time. The compromises for 5 CD version, unfortunately, had to be made, so it shipped with lower graphics quality and even less puzzles/background story. With its impeccable beauty, and the rare fact that in a Myst-clone you can switch between 2 characters at any time a-la Day of the Tentacle, it’s the one that should really be on GOG/Steam by now (DVD version).
Recently finished: Four Last Things 4/5, Edna & Harvey: The Breakout 5/5, Chains of Satinav 3,95/5, A Vampyre Story 88, Sam Peters 3/5, Broken Sword 1 4,5/5, Broken Sword 2 4,3/5, Broken Sword 3 85, Broken Sword 5 81, Gray Matter 4/5\nCurrently playing: Broken Sword 4, Keepsake (Let\‘s Play), Callahan\‘s Crosstime Saloon (post-Community Playthrough)\nLooking forward to: A Playwright’s Tale
In what part of the world is it already Saturday??? I’m just getting up on Friday!
HAHA… rtrooney’s early Casual Friday managed to confused me totally. Right after I posted, I realized the mistake, but I let it go. Less work for tomorrow.

It just turned Saturday in New Zealand, and it’s been Saturday for one or two hours on some islands in the Pacific.
The truth can’t hurt you, it’s just like the dark: it scares you witless but in time you see things clear and stark. - Elvis Costello
Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka
Thanx TM… what I wanted to say is that I’m in Kiritimati right now… (and where’s the surprise in Saturday Surprise Special if it isn’t a day earlier )

I can’t speak to the viewers, but the majority of regular commenters live on the east side of GMT. Thus I tend to post my Casual Friday later in the day on Thursday. I know that screws up Lady K and Becky. But I am not an early bird. 5:30 on Friday morning is meant for sleeping, not posting.
For whom the games toll,
