Monet - Mystery of the Orangery is a 1st person perspective game, controlled using both the keyboard & mouse, with the interesting concept of playing within full 3D environments cleverly created by the developers to expand on some, or adaptations of, the paintings of Monet.

Unlike its obscure predecessor Mission Sunlight based on the works of Van Gogh, this inventory based game has a better plot more in keeping with other familiar titles from publishers Wanadoo.

This wintery scene is not from a Monet painting but if you explore the area in this part of the game you will at least find a reference to works ‘Train in the Snow’ & the more accurately depicted ‘The Magpie’.

I always liked the look of this game because they kept the style of Monet’s works, which I love.
