Rabbit Hill

It took me about a couple of hours to get through this very atmospheric 3rd person perspective horror story which has hints of Barrow Hill & Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds.

The tale starts with Tim & Kate taking a different route than usual to visit Kate’s mother, crashing their car in the middle of nowhere & then having to walk to the next seemingly abandoned gas-station.

The game is presented in FMV (but very grainy) with no voice-acting (with the little dialogue presented as text) & no music as such but the lack of compensated for by appropriate sound effects.

I found the game interesting & well constructed with challenging enough exploration & puzzles (mainly inventory) which included having to locate a place using an EMF meter.
My immersion though was spoilt by a difficult & infuriating shooting sequence early on which could be a game stopper for a lot of players & nearly made me abandon the game but by then I was already hooked so I kept trying & I found it worth the trouble!
