Technobabylon

Not too much introduction needed for this one I suspect! Prior to the excellent Wadget Eye release, Technobabylon started life as a 3 part freeware series of games. As can be seen from the screenshot, the commercially available version is very similar in some ways but much different and better in others.

Part 1 of the trilogy is really just a one room escape on the screenshot above. However, even from that there was a glimpse of a deep and engaging gameworld and history that you wanted to know more about. It was fleshed out further in the longer parts 2 and 3 and eventually mastered in the commercial release.

Great concept, great setting, great game.
