Dear Simon,

I’m pleased to announce that you have been chosen, from literally thousand of hopeful candidates to perform death-defying but extremely worthwhile quest…

While we wait for new Simon’s adventures, here’s a reminder of how it all began with Simon The Sorcerer*. While one can argue that Adventuresoft “copied” LucasArts, the humor was a bit different, and the game worked on almost every level (original premise, non-linearity etc.).

*Luckily, the screenshot is just a tiny bit bigger than the logo. Grin

Recently finished: Four Last Things 4/5, Edna & Harvey: The Breakout 5/5, Chains of Satinav 3,95/5, A Vampyre Story 88, Sam Peters 3/5, Broken Sword 1 4,5/5, Broken Sword 2 4,3/5, Broken Sword 3 85, Broken Sword 5 81, Gray Matter 4/5\nCurrently playing: Broken Sword 4, Keepsake (Let\‘s Play), Callahan\‘s Crosstime Saloon (post-Community Playthrough)\nLooking forward to: A Playwright’s Tale

One of the game’s best lines are on this screen

“And why do you think that we are wizards?”
“When I put the pointer on you, it says “wizards”“.

10/10 for humor.

I loved the first two Simon games! Classic Lucasarts but with more British humour. Thumbs Up

Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka
