Another unfinished game, for no apparent reason - I LOVE pirates, and while Jolly Rover had sea dogs (literally) instead of a regular buccaneers, I can’t say that bothered me - nor the Monkey Island-esque humorous take on the swashbuckling adventure. Another pawsitive (ouch!) element is a Sierra-esque upper bar that will inform you of the current score, the rank, pet cetera. Wait! I remember it now - I didn’t like how the current quest is also visible, it felt “casual”, to put it ruffly. I also didn’t like that the game had you collecting crackers along the way, but I might be barking up the wrong tree because they’re only used for an optional hint system, to feed your parrot-sidekick.

Recently finished: Four Last Things 4/5, Edna & Harvey: The Breakout 5/5, Chains of Satinav 3,95/5, A Vampyre Story 88, Sam Peters 3/5, Broken Sword 1 4,5/5, Broken Sword 2 4,3/5, Broken Sword 3 85, Broken Sword 5 81, Gray Matter 4/5\nCurrently playing: Broken Sword 4, Keepsake (Let\‘s Play), Callahan\‘s Crosstime Saloon (post-Community Playthrough)\nLooking forward to: A Playwright’s Tale

I don’t mean to hound you, but how unfinished is it? Does it end with a “to be continued…” or simply stop at a crucial plot point? Always been curious about this one.

I mean - ANOTHER unfinished game, just like the previous one, from my side. Grin So, I can’t pointer you whether the game itself is “finished” or not. Maybe someone else can whelp you with that.

I really really enjoyed this game.  I don’t know if I have it on my computer now and I think I bought it from a site that is out of business now… so, dunno if I can replay it. But, I think I will check and see.

A surprisingly good game, and more serious than you would think a game where everybody is dogs would be. I mean it is a comedy, kind of similar to monkey island, but there is nothing cutsie or casual about it, just dogs in all the roles, and a lot of dog jokes similar to the one in the title.

When I said “casual” I wasn’t addressing the game’s tone, theme… but the fact that at every moment there’s a current mini-quest to be seen at the top of the screen, the one you should tackle in order to progress (similar to some HOGs) which is a deterioration of the classic p&c adventure vibe IMO, and a hand-holding to a minor, but certain degree.

One would think that someone who has been “currently playing” Keepsake for over a year could use a bit of hand-holding!

Hey, buster, a game like Keepsake comes once in a 10 years, so I’m in no hurry to finish it! Grin (actually, I did progress but the stupid crash bag kept me from playing, and now I have reinstalled it, and of course, lost the save game in the process Grin )
