Adventure Game Scene of the Day - Sunday, 28 February
It lacked that something little “extra”, but The African Queen A New Beginning was a very pleasant experience, with a non-standard plot, strongly reminiscent of “lighthearted” sci-fi comics. (Anyone thought that Bent looked like Kris Kristofferson and Fay like Laura Dern?!)
Recently finished: Four Last Things 4/5, Edna & Harvey: The Breakout 5/5, Chains of Satinav 3,95/5, A Vampyre Story 88, Sam Peters 3/5, Broken Sword 1 4,5/5, Broken Sword 2 4,3/5, Broken Sword 3 85, Broken Sword 5 81, Gray Matter 4/5\nCurrently playing: Broken Sword 4, Keepsake (Let\‘s Play), Callahan\‘s Crosstime Saloon (post-Community Playthrough)\nLooking forward to: A Playwright’s Tale
I really liked A New Beginning - I know it wasn’t ‘Edutainment’ but I did find out about ‘foggers’ but then again did I? I can’t remember what the fogger did?

The African QueenA New Beginning
You know i played it twice, but i never got to catch what exactly this “extra-missing” thing was, it sure missed somethings; the story was nice, but maybe this Bent guy stays ‘bent’ as there is nothing in the story to drag him along, i dont know!.
i may call it a flat adventure with nothing intense about its gameplay design that keeps you rolling with it.
I liked the part where Fay had to evoke that strike, nice puzzle
Daedelic really had some stinkers, didn’ t they? I tried to play this twice and never made it past the first few chapters. Terrible voice acting, bad writing and just generally bad.
