Here’s another one from Cyberflix - Dust: A Tale Of The Wired West is a slightly obscure western game, that features both rendered graphics and FMV actors, like in Titanic: Adventure Out of Time.

I liked the “gritty” atmosphere of it, though it has its shortcomings. If you manage to find your way in the town as a Stranger for the first day, there’s a big chance you’ll like the game. It’s not really “hybrid” in the true sense, but the fact that you earn money relevant for the game in numerous mini-games like blackjack and poker, make it also a money management game. Grin Plus, there’re some fist-fights and gun shooting in the later stages of the game. A pretty unique, and for the times - frustrating, Dust is one those games that rewards player’s patience and slowly absorbs you in the gameworld.

Recently finished: Four Last Things 4/5, Edna & Harvey: The Breakout 5/5, Chains of Satinav 3,95/5, A Vampyre Story 88, Sam Peters 3/5, Broken Sword 1 4,5/5, Broken Sword 2 4,3/5, Broken Sword 3 85, Broken Sword 5 81, Gray Matter 4/5\nCurrently playing: Broken Sword 4, Keepsake (Let\‘s Play), Callahan\‘s Crosstime Saloon (post-Community Playthrough)\nLooking forward to: A Playwright’s Tale

I wonder if you would then call FPFP a hybrid game. There are only three “action” sequences. Target practice, swing to school roof and the swordfight between Penelope and Freddie. How many non-adventure sequences does it take to turn an adventure into a hybrid?
