In 1994, Smoking Car Productions invented a digital rotoscoping process to develop its critically acclaimed adventure video game The Last Express. The process was awarded U.S. Patent 6,061,462, Digital Cartoon and Animation Process.

When I was young and in my pubescence, I wanted to make out with Anna Wolff. Some years later when I replayed it, the English-French pair Rebecca and Sophie, were of my highest interest. Now, my choice would be Tatiana Obolenskaya. (She does NOT look like a 16-year-old girl in the game! More like 26.)

Recently finished: Four Last Things 4/5, Edna & Harvey: The Breakout 5/5, Chains of Satinav 3,95/5, A Vampyre Story 88, Sam Peters 3/5, Broken Sword 1 4,5/5, Broken Sword 2 4,3/5, Broken Sword 3 85, Broken Sword 5 81, Gray Matter 4/5\nCurrently playing: Broken Sword 4, Keepsake (Let\‘s Play), Callahan\‘s Crosstime Saloon (post-Community Playthrough)\nLooking forward to: A Playwright’s Tale

The Last Express... Anna Wolff… Rebecca and Sophie… Tatiana Obolenskaya.

Now I see what made this game so memorable for you.
I still haven’t played TLE (wonder if I ever will).

And I guess Madame Boutarel would be your favorite character:

That’s the sin even Lord Jebus can’t save you from.

Tatiana, really? Interesting choice. If I were a man, Anna would be the only one for me. But I’m a woman and my favorite TLE guy was, is, and will always be Robert. Heart Eyes The alternatives make me shudder. Two immature revolutionary idiots.Embarassed Although Milos IS kind of attractive. Herr Schmidt…huuuu!  Sick A middle-aged British spy.  Frown

I’m not homersexual (AFAIK), but if I’d have to choose between Tatiana (as shown on Diego’s picture) and Robert:
, I’d choose (much better looking) Robert too.

Well, when you’re adolescent, wild and young, you aim for the “Miss Prom Night”, the lead star… Anna Wolf.
As you grew up, you tend to experiment a bit, you get to love a mystery. Like the Rebecca & Sophie Tongue.
Finally, and at the end of the day, you settle with a domestic, caring, ordinary kind of woman. Grin Haven’t you seen romantic movies?! Pan Tongue

Rich, powerful, mysterious. But a cold-hearted and ruthless killer. Bad through and through.

I admit that while I have tried numerous times to play The Last Express, the clock-time system makes me anxious as hell and thus, I never even finished it. I simply cannot play a game with the knowledge that every choice of mine WILL (Not may. Will) result in missing something critical behind. The fact that there are no english subtitles adds to the effect. I know it adds to the replayability but for myself it ruins the joy of playing it.
There will be a time in the future when I’ll be able to surpass all these and play it to the end. I know it will…
(I had almost the same effect with The Space Bar with its numbered moves and no subs either. But at least I played it in a AGCP environment with almost predetermined steps -thus almost deleting the anxiety factor)

I can guarantee there’s at least one robot in The Last Express. Wink
