Adventure Game Scene of the Day — Wednesday 29 April 2015
Mysterious Journey 2: Chameleon (2003) is said to be not as difficult as Mysterious Journey: Schizm, but I’m afraid I didn’t finish the second one either. I made it out of the spaceship on my own, but that’s about it.
I don’t like to admit I’m not smart enough for Detalion’s cruel, wicked, infernal, mathematical puzzles, so I prefer to think of my brain as specialized in other, equally important, stuff. 
I do enjoy 1st-person Mystian games though, like the Rhem series, which are based on logic.

Detalion games were my absolute favorites back then. I don’t know if today mathematical puzzles would hold the same fascination. Rhem, on the other hand, felt like a giant 3D maze with no story and I quit in frustration fairly quickly.
