‘LET’S WORK TOGETHER’ - Week Special

As the title suggests, this week Karlok & I are presenting some of those games which include parts in which you need to engage the help and/or skills of, either an NPC such as a side-kick or colleague, or at least one other playable character that you can switch back & forth from, in order to solve a problem.

I found the facility to switch between playing as paranormal expert Darrrel Boone & lawyer Victoria Conrey in The Watchmaker as well as swapping inventory items which brought them together in the same place quite interesting & novel at the time but found the potential for them to co-operate more with each other very underutilised. A lot of the game-play for either character was independent of each other but with most of the locations, inventory items & actions equally accessible to both of them with only a few exceptions where it was necessary to control specifically Darrel or Victoria to progress
