Adventure Game Scene of the Day - Friday 16 January 2015
Dracula 5: The Blood Legacy (2013) is the continuation of Dracula 4: Shadow of the Dragon which ended on a cliff-hanger after protagonist Ellen Cross discovered an unknown painting.
I didn’t think this 2nd part of the story flowed so well & along with the 1st lacked the atmosphere of earlier games in the series but I found it entertaining enough & liked the modern day setting.
I’m yet to play Dracula 4 and 5 (loved D1, liked D2 and D3 very much).

I’d be interested in your thoughts zobraks if you get around to playing them (also anyone else’s) as I thought that there was a lot of wasted opportunity to make these games so much better as the basics were all there - the main one being a protagonist with a blood disorder in a Dracula game just not taken anywhere in the story - very disappointing! Also you need to enjoy the ride rather than the destination as I wasn’t impressed with either ending!
