1953 KGB Unleashed (2010) a.k.a. Phobos 1953 is played in 1st person perspective & very puzzle orientated with the clues contained in many documents so there’s a lot of reading to do. It’s well worth playing if you’re a fan of this kind of game.
It wasn’t really for me as I found the puzzles a little too technical but persisted as I was intrigued by the semblance of a story based on real projects testing human endurance & the purpose of the bunker the game is set in. 
I haven’t quite finished playing it yet but found the page of Russian jokes to be some light relief from the heavy theme & oppressive environments.
