Look, you might find this hard to believe, but I came here with the quaint idea that you might be a girl who needed some help. But you’re not in any jam. You don’t need me. You don’t need anybody. You’re so damned smart you could talk your way out of a safe deposit box.

And finally Philip Marlowe himself. Cool Private Eye is based on one of Chandler’s books, so the writing and one-liners are great.  I love the cartoon-style and the voices are good. No real puzzles, only choices to make with different outcomes. Just looking at the screenshot makes me want to play it again to get a new ending.  Thumbs Up

I love those hard-boiled detective stories.

Chandler’s books, so the writing and one-liners are great.

You may want to check Bukowski’s Pulp, a quirky novel written in the same manner.
