Few of the times, heroes don’t turn out exactly right, or to the “poster standards”. There’re several reasons for this: animation, bad camera timing… or simply that it’s someone else masquerading as our beloved hero!

1. Space Quest IV: Roger Wilco and The Time Rippers

I don’t know if he got beaten previously by that bird, or what, but the facial expression tells me he should be enjoying flying more.

2. Monkey Island 1

Guybrush too looks as he’s about to vomit any moment now.

3. The Pandora Directive

What?! Hard-boiled detectives brush teeth? Good bye, Suspension of disbelief!

4. The Whispered World

Instead of a lovely, depressing clown here we have a jester-hooligan.

Just missing the cut: Robert Cath, balder and growing a beard (wait, that’s not Robert Cath!)

Out of those four: Tex, without a doubt. The hair alone… Gasp

And apparently, in the future we don’t brush electrically… Grin

Nobody should be allowed to brush their teeth in an adventure game! Not even my beloved Tex.

Which game is that? I’m sure I haven’t played it or I would have remembered.
