Adventure Game Scene of the Day — Saturday 16 March 2013
I tend to think that fish are meant to be eaten, not heard, but here’s a scene from EcoQuest with a talking fish anyway.
No you got it all wrong. Fish are meant to be put in your ear so you can hear others.

I recommend it to all kids out there!!! 
I liked Lost secret of the rainforest better then The search for Cetus.
I remember the village and the diversity of creatures that amazed me from Ecoquest 2, but especialy the variety of colours and types of birds from the giant tree and I was also very fond of the coral scenary and of Dolphinus in Ecoquest 1.
And yes, some fish DO TALK !
(I’m still such a kid sometimes! 
)
EDIT: and if I remember right, that yellow fish is the Oracle

Me too, I have very fond memories EQ2 because of exactly what you described here
