The Silver Earring is the only Frogwares Sherlock Holmes game I haven’t played yet. I bought it during a Steam sale long ago, but I need to find the time to get to it. Then again, based on that creepy screenshot, I’m not sure I want to get to it! 
The Silver Earring is quite different from the other games in the series but worth your while. It’s a more classic Holmes investigation in the vein of Arthur Conan Doyle with some nice puzzles and a truly brilliant plot. I very much recommend it.
I liked Sherlock Holmes: Secret of the Silver Earring very much, but that running through the woods (what a stupid maze!) was ridiculous and preposterous. I still can’t figure out how I made it.
