That’s a funny scene, Izno! None of the guesses are correct yet, but this one may help narrow it down somewhat:

Mike, my mind is officially blown! Out of a series of 30+ games you manage to guess it on the first try
P.S. I’ve never actually played any of them, been debating for some time to try one out…

Didn’t mean to blow your mind, Sir! I was pretty sure it was from a Nancy Drew game…wasn’t sure which one, so I just started going through the AG screenshots for each game until I found them, right here on this site!
I’ve played maybe a dozen of the games, including this one. Some are good, some are…blah. After all these years, the developer is replacing the iconic voice actor Lani Minella, who has voiced Nancy Drew since the inception of the series, with someone else, and die-hard ND fans are pretty upset across the board. It would almost be like replacing Chris Jones with someone else as Tex Murphy!
Anyway, here’s my next submission:

Lady Kestrel - 19 March 2015 08:34 PMHmmm. Maybe Universe?
Oh good grief Lady K, I must bow in your general direction.
Either your knowledge of all things “adventure game” is far superior to that of a mere commoner such as myself, or I used the easiest of the four screenshots I had ready for what I thought was one of the most obscure (of the 400+) games in my collection. Since the one I used didn’t get any hits on Google Images, I suspect the former.
Would it have made any difference if I’d started with this, or is it just another dead giveaway?

Good one, Sir B.!
The first one stuck in my memory, Mike, but the second one would have stumped me. I haven’t played the game.
This next one is not for those who get lost easily.

I’ll pass on this one…I just played it again so this scene is fresh in my memory. And no, Advie, it’s not from Aura….
