2011 Aggie Awards - Readers’ Choice poll

Aggie Awards Readers’ Choice original teaser
Aggie Awards Readers’ Choice original teaser

The 2011 Aggie Award nominees are in, but while the red carpet’s being rolled out and final envelopes are sealed with our own chosen winners, now’s the time for you to show which games you like; you really, really like! Yes, the Readers’ Choice poll returns once again, giving each game another chance to shine, this time in the popular vote rather than the opinion of snobb… I mean honest, thoughtful, passionate critics likes ourselves.

Below is a complete list of categories open for voting. Only one vote per category is allowed. To make your choice, simply select the appropriate game from the drop-down menu available for each question. If you wish to pass on certain categories, simply pick the "No answer" selection from the menu. There is one write-in vote for Best Character; if submitting an entry for that, please list both the name of the character you’re nominating and the game in which he/she/it/they appear.

This poll works solely on the honour system, so we haven’t taken any precautions to avoid ballot-stuffing (although your IP address will be logged after submitting a survey). We do ask, however, that you limit yourselves to only one entry. One ballot per person is how voting works best, and we trust that no one will abuse the system. In the same way, we ask that you vote only for games you feel are deserving of victory. This is all just for fun, but spoiling votes just ruins the fun for everyone. In the unlikely event of suspicious voting activity, we’ll deal with that at the time, but we’re confident that won’t be necessary.

Voting will end on Monday, February 13th, and winners will be unveiled in our final Aggie Awards presentation over the course of three days, beginning February 15th. It may not be your civic duty to vote this time, but a single ballot really can make a difference! Besides, if you don’t vote, you haven’t earned the right to gripe if your faves don’t come out on top.

Notes

No applicable games have been excluded from the voting list to ensure full impartiality. Only titles that are ineligible for a specific criterion (non-console exclusive, voice acting, etc.) have been omitted from those categories.

For the sake of administrative simplicity, Back to the Future, episodes 2 and 3 of Hector: Badge of Carnage, and Stacking (with expansion) have been listed as a single entity. Nominations can be based on individual episodes or the series in its entirety.
