The fifth adventure of George Stobbart and Nico Collard in the acclaimed series from Revolution. This video is private?
Do we have to be a backer to view it?
No, sorry. Should be viewable now. Just had our upload private at first so it didn’t leak ahead of time. ![]()
Ahh, I see. Guess I was just too eager!
Good to hear Saxon’s voice again.
Well, the voice is right, but that face is that really George? I think he looks too childish…
I like the Broken Sword games, Unfortunately not enough to contribute money to get a new game made, but I wish Charles the best luck in making it happen.
Sorry but the ending to broken sword 4 killed the series for me! Good luck though!
One of the first adventure games I played was Broken Sword 1.What I loved about the game was the beautiful 2D graphics and the atmosphere.Broken Sword 2 had all of this too even though it wasn’t as good story wise.
But then the next games from the series ended up disappointing me by discarding 2D for 3D. Not only that the characters didn’t look like themselves anymore but they didn’t much act like themselves either. If you cannot do 3D well then just don’t!
Was hoping maybe that with this new installment for the series they would take the right decisions and return to their roots.Sadly in my opinion it is for the worse. George doesn’t even look like himself , not to mention how Nico sounds. It would be horrible to have to hear her as she sounds now all the time. Why not make the character 2D also??? Or at least if you are going to take a risk to pick this sort of graphics why not at least stay true to how the characters look.
I hope I am wrong about this and in the end this will be at least a nice game.
double posted by mistake!:D
I think this looks great. I’m really interested in it. I really only love the first one, don’t care much for the others, but BS1 was so good I’m still willing to come back for more—especially with those 2-D backgrounds!
