Review of A New Beginning by Houie

This game is just great. The presents a very important issue in a way that doesn’t seem too “preachy”. They do this by making the game great.

The game is essentially a great game that has a gripping & interesting story, jaw-dropping graphics, superb and exciting sound & music, great puzzles (that make sense - mostly).

Be prepared for some technical issues though: translations may not often be there (showing some German) and there are some minor audio glitches for earlier cinematics.

I deducted points for being very violent. I understand that to portray the message well, perhaps they need to grip the user more, but I can’t help but think this could have been achieved through other less lethal means. They have created a double-edged sword: a righteous message but achieved through perhaps unrighteous means.
