Fifth adventure conjured up for Simon the Sorcerer
Newest sequel a time-travelling journey for the popular teen wizard

While many are still anxiously awaiting a widespread English release of Simon the Sorcerer: Chaos Happens, now a fifth Simon adventure has been announced by The Games Company at the GC in Leipzig.

If news of a Simon the Sorcerer 5 (working title) seems like the series getting a little ahead of itself, that's appropriate to its theme. The latest adventure will send players to "a futuristic game world, in which they experience a turbulent backward journey through history in order to help Simon to recover his memory." Throughout the time-travelling adventure, series fans will meet up with familiar faces from previous games even as they "encounter fantastic vehicles like steam-powered space ships in the imaginative alternative universe."

While no release date has been announced yet, even for the developer's native Germany, we can only hope that by the time the new game is finished, Simon will have finally established a foothold in English markets. In the meantime, stay tuned to Adventure Gamers for a more in-depth look at the ever-pending Chaos Happens in our own, more immediate future.
