Strong Bad looking good for August 11 WiiWare, PC launch
Ordering details for full SBCG4AP season now available

It may have taken a bit longer than originally expected, but the gang of Homestarrunner.com now have a firm date for their video game debut, as Telltale Games announced today that the season premiere of Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People will launch simultaneously on PC and WiiWare on August 11th.

In Homestar Ruiner, the boxing-garbed Strong Bad must undo his own damage after his underhanded schemes against Homestar Runner inadvertently lead to an unwelcome house guest. With simple point-and-click controls on both platforms, players will have plenty of puzzles to solve, crank phone calls to make, minigames to play, and a variety of wacky characters to insult along the way.

The first adventure game ever to release through Nintendo's WiiWare download service, Homestar Ruiner will be available from the Wii Shop Channel for 1000 Wii Points in North and South America next Monday, with Europe, Australia and New Zealand to follow shortly after.

Telltale has also announced the price structure for both episodic and full season orders of the PC version. Like the Sam & Max series, each monthly downloadable episode of SBCG4AP will be available for $8.95, or $34.95 for the complete five-episode season, and once again a disc version will be made available at season's end to full series customers for just the additional cost of shipping.

For more information about Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, including pre-order instructions, be sure to check out the game's official website. And if you're new to the comic series created by Mike and Matt Chapman, now's the time to pop over to the site that started it all.
