Simon the Sorcerer conjures his way out of Germany

The more time passed since Simon the Sorcerer 4: Chaos Happens was released in Germany, the greater the worry became of whether it would find its way to the rest of the world. Those concerns should be eased somewhat today, as Playlogic has announced the acquisition of the game for near-worldwide distribution.

In the latest point and click adventure involving Simon, the young sorcerer is knocked out after a tussle over a TV remote. While unconscious, he has a dream where an old friend from the magic world, Alix, warns him about a Simon doppelganger who is wreaking havoc. Naturally, Simon decides to travel to the magic world using his wardrobe and set things right.

Playlogic will distribute the game throughout the world, except for Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and the Commonwealth of Independent States. It is slated for a first quarter 2008 release.
