Studio Fizbin's The Inner World is one step closer to the seeing the light of day, as German publisher Headup Games has announced plans to publish the game next spring.

The Inner World takes place in a round, hollow space deep within the earth, where a race of peculiar stripe-nosed Asposians live.  Powered by the holy winds of the gods, now all but one of the sacred windwells have gone still.  The end of the inner world seems inevitable if a "naïve and cheerful" court musician named Robert and a mysterious thief named Laura can't change their fate. 

Originally begun as a school project, The Inner World promises to be a "fabulously twisted" hand-drawn adventure filled with quirky characters, a humorous storyline and challenging puzzles. The game will be published worldwide by Headup Games for PC, Mac, and iOS platforms sometime in the second quarter of 2013.
