Watson reveals Sherlock’s darker side in new trailer

When it rains it pours, especially in foggy London town, as yet another The Testament of Sherlock Holmes trailer has now been released by Frogwares for your viewing pleasure.

It’s 1898, and this time all the evidence of a police investigation points to Sherlock Holmes himself as the main suspect in a case involving theft, fraud and double-crossings. Even Doctor Watson's faith in his friend begins to waver, as the famous detective flees Scotland Yard and raises further suspicion; prowling around at night and destroying evidence.

Hot on the heels of last month’s trailer, this latest video gives us the lowdown from Watson’s point of view, and it’s certainly an important one as Holmes is clearly not altogether himself lately. The stylish teaser emphasises the darker tone of this adventure and shows off the new engine designed specifically for this game.

The Testament of Sherlock Holmes will be released by Focus Home Interactive early next year for PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
