Still Life 2, CSI: NY cast get screen time in new trailers
In today's news: murder, murder, and more murder. If that's starting to sound like the real news, that's what you get when dealing with Still Life 2 and CSI: NY, as new trailers have recently been released for both games.
The first "official" teaser for Still Life 2 offers a cinematic glimpse into the next case of FBI agent Victoria McPherson. As in the original game, Victoria is once again hot on the heels of a serial killer, and this time her pursuit of the "East Coast Torturer" takes her to Maine, where the latest body has just been discovered. This time, Victoria shares the stage with a journalist named Paloma Hernandez, whose coverage of the case takes a tragic turn when she's kidnapped by the Torturer. During the game, players will split time between the two characters, playing both hunter and hunted.
The new trailer introduces the game's central characters and offers a disturbing glimpse of the new killer. At 36 MB, the movie can be downloaded from WorthPlaying.
If Still Life 2 puts a strain on your nerves, the new CSI: NY trailers are much less stressful. With the launch of the first CSI game starring the New York cast due any day, Ubisoft has released four video clips showing interviews with the game's voice talent. Those who watch the popular television show will immediately recognize the likes of Gary Sinise, Melina Kanakaredes, Carmine Giovinazzo, and Eddie Cahill, who will all be contributing their voices and likenesses to the game, along with other regulars like Hill Harper, Anna Belknap, Robert Joy and A.J. Buckley.
While previous CSI games have also included the actual TV actors, this degree of authenticity is all the more important in CSI: NY, as the new game allows players to directly control the show characters for the first time ever.
