First Dreamfall trailer released

You've seen the screenshots, read the previews, and followed the controversy about Dreamfall, the sequel to The Longest Journey that dares to take the game in a bold new direction.

Now it's time to experience it more personally, as today Funcom released the first Dreamfall trailer from E3 2005. Weighing in at almost 35 MB for the U.S. version (the European download is currently 67 MB, though showing the same footage), the video offers an impressive first look at the stylish 3D worlds presented in the upcoming game.

The game is still many months from completion, but this should help whet appetites for what Funcom calls "a spiritual, fantastic and powerful gaming experience."

Update: Funcom tells us the video had some framerate issues, so it's been replaced with a smaller-size, but smoother running video.
