Hardcore
Pretty brutal game. Really surprised me. The endings are satisfying. I enjoyed every minute of this game. Decent puzzles, characters, voice acting, locations and most importantly the unraveling of the story. It really deconstructs the “chosen one” trope.
Don’t miss out. Well deserved 4/5.

Nice way to spend a few hours
Well it was sure a nice way to spend the day. The story is pretty interesting, the setup is great and the graphics are brilliant, though maybe not everybody’s cup of tea, being pixelated. But the colors, the details and the general mood, man, this is art.
The story is pretty convincing, for the most part and the puzzles are pretty easy. Not a lot of moving from place to place (depending on everybody’s standard), so the story flows nicely.
Voiceacting is decent and the characters have enough background to justify their actions.
I recommend it for a nice relaxing play. Enjoy!

Another great game from Wadjet Eye
I had been anticipating this game ever since it was announced, and finished it in a seven hour sitting as soon as it came out. Most prominent is the gorgeous background art, which is extremely detailed for being so pixelated. Ben Chandler has as usual done a wonderful job breathing life into the world and its characters. The story kept me interested all the way to the credits even though it might not be the most overwhelming one from the developer. I would perhaps have preferred the difficulty to be a bit higher. Mostly because that would have kept me in the awesome post-apocalyptic world of the game for a longer time though, because solving the puzzles is rewarding enough. I am now eagerly awaiting Unavowed, the upcoming title from Wadjet Eye Games.
