Jane is a beautiful, mysterious girl who avoids all real human contact, expressing herself only through her art. Spying out her apartment window, she develops an affection for her neighbor Frank, and begins taking his photograph without his knowledge. From these images, Jane creates composite drawings of the two of them together, which sets the stage for danger and bizarre events, both real and imagined.
