Can you explain your reasoning on why you think we need the wine for the formula? Where does the note refer to wine? I’m confused. I’m sure others are too.

Don’t forget there are other places to explore.

>x label
You can’t see any such thing.

>find spittle
I didn’t understand that sentence.

>find virgin’s milk
I didn’t understand that sentence.

>x bin 3
Its shelves are stacked from floor to ceiling with dusty bottles. A plaque above the bin is engraved with the name “Elias Tymme”.

>read bin 3

>feel bin 3
You feel nothing unexpected.

>smell
The cellars give off a musty odour, not unpleasant, compounded of sour wine and old cork.

>ask bin about virgin’s milk
You can only do that to something animate.

I think the new book is pretty clear about a wine bottle in the cellar for the Eilixir,

I’m with Karlok here. I’m quite sure the bin is correct in term of dates so since we’re just fighting the parser, let’s maybe just get a hint?

Other than that let’s continue testing:

> pull bin 3
> search bin 3
> smash bottles
> scream
> knock on hatch (let’s see if we can get out of here)

The Bible! Make Lazarus drink myrrhed wine. And what Wilco said.

Such as? We’ve been everywhere. Unless you’re talking about dinner at 7. But we have to move the clock forward somehow.

EDIT: I forgot the manhole and the barrier.

“To form the Virgin’s Milk, which is the cause of prophetic dreams and mystic visions, dissolve the powder in a bottle of good wine, which you may give to your cellarer to put away so that it may mature in darkness over a space of at least five years.

Ok, I’m not sure what’s going on…

Originally I tried this which I thought “worked” but then I restored the save, and now it doesn’t work.

>search bin 3 for red wine
You search among the bottles, but there are hundreds, perhaps thousands of them, all very much alike (though all exquisitely different, no doubt, once on the table). You stop searching, dispirited. Maybe if you knew what you were supposed to be looking for you would have more success.

The hatch opens, and a woman peers in. “Come out, you silly girl! How stupid of you to get trapped down there, you should be more careful with your wandering around, I don’t know, and me with work to do…” You emerge rather shamefully from the cellars, and she closes and locks the hatch, before going back into the kitchens.

Outside the Kitchens

There is a closed hatch in the middle of the floor.

[Your score has just gone up by one point.]

So we didn’t get the wine? At least we are out now. Anyone know what are the tears for, are they part of the ritual?

Virgin’s MILK is red?? Somebody has to explain that to me. And don’t give me stuff about red powder, because the end result is MILK.

I’m not so sure this isn’t the parser.

Good point. And milk is white. Do you want to search for a white bottle?
