Hi! We are 3 brothers called Amarino André França and Tiago França and we are starting our own journey of making video games. We are from Azores, Portugal, a beautiful and small archipelago in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

We have little background on video game development, but we were always passionate about gaming and making games was always inside our head in the end.

A big part of our blog is focused on us learning about video games and exploring software and different techniques in order to make our own product which we will announce very soon.

Indeed those Azores! That moment was one of our best ones on any video game, as you might guess! The moment we realized this was on Angra do Heroísmo (from another island of the Azores, we went crazy! Haha we were actually hoping someone here remembered this part of Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis.

Maybe three, maybe two… Who knows? We think it was the front two, actually.

Hi guys, so here we present you with our first in-depth post on creating an hand-painted texture for our upcoming adventure game!

But first, let me post an excerpt:

“This post will resume Amarino’s work during 2 days around hand-painted textures: you will get his biggest struggles, where did he learn some of it, how he did it (with a mouse… yeah, that’s right, artists! With a mouse! Take that.), what helped him, his hopes, dreams, ambitions, loved ones, favorite food, etc.

No, not really. You’ll get the process. That’s it. This is in no way an informative post or a tutorial. Look at it almost like a diary entry. So:

My dear diary,

First of all let me clarify: I am in no way an artist, so any feedback regarding what you’ll see here is welcome. Good or bad.”

You can read more here: http://bigbrotherzgames.tumblr.com/post/157638281224/our-hand-painted-textures

Of course, all opinions are welcome and we know even though this isn’t the most interesting content yet, stick with us. We will announce our game plot soon, very soon!

Hey guys, here we come again with some new developments: we just finished our own first puzzle. Let us know what you guys think, as you have the most important opinions for us, adventure game lovers!

Do you guys think it’s a good enough puzzle (please ignore the ugly icons and visuals haha)?

Also, take some time and read a little about it: http://bigbrotherzgames.tumblr.com/post/158154346804/the-state-of-things
