We’re very happy to present you our first project: Detective Gallo. We have an alpha demo available here: http://www.adventureproductions.it/DG_DEMO.zip, so any feedback is appreciated.

PLOT
In the darkness enveloping a city like any other, five exotic plants are the victims of a shocking event. There’s no doubt: it’s a multiple plant murder. The city is not particularly alarmed by the tragic incident, but a multi-billionaire is willing to pay an outrageous amount of money to solve the mystery.

And who, if not Detective Gallo, can accept the challenge (and the generous advance of his client)?

This is a fun game.  But, I am stuck already. Is there a walkthrough for this demo?

No walkthrough, but I can help if you tell me where you’re stuck

I have the gun, phone, globby, money, envelope, key, umbrella, vase, shell and spray can. I know I need to get the picture from the candy booth lady but I can’t seem to get it. Help please!

Then you should use the spray can with something near Candy to convince her to give your photo back…

edit:  That worked but now I am having trouble getting away from the house/taxi area. When I press the spacebar, I see the red arrow going down but no matter what I do he will not move to another screen.

Are you in the final scene when the texi driver is pointing the gun at you?

no, in fact, after doing that last thing on the wall, I went to the taxi area and I can’t move out of there. I tried it again just now and still can’t move. I see the arrow - but he won’t move to another screen.

That’s really strange, it shouldn’t happen and it’s the first time we heard about it… can you start from an earlier savegame, maybe, and see if it happens again?

Detective Gallo has been Greenlit by the Steam community in just 10 days, so we will be on Steam starting next summer!

I enjoyed the interview on the AG homepage. So a serial killer has murdered five exotic plants? I do that myself every summer. Maybe even more than five. Mostly through incompetence though.

Are these exotic plants sentient?

Of course not, Becky, but who murdered them probably has a plan…

I went back to an old saved game and now can move around again. I don’t know what the problem was that I couldn’t move out of the scene. anyway, the taxi driver has the gun and I have clicked on everything (I think).  A little nudge would be appreciated!

Try to look at something a criminal like him could be interested…
