Adventure Game Scene of the Day - Wednesday 26 October 2016
To conclude my autumn-themed month this October here’s a screenshot from The Last Crown: Midnight Horror, a short 3rd person perspective game where events take place on the evening of Halloween.
The game, I thought, successfully combined the fun aspects of ‘Halloween’ with an interesting story involving the use of protagonist Nigel Danvers’ ghost-hunting equipment to investigate a haunting of the local pub & the town’s pier.
Although a little mis-named as the ‘horror’ was behind & only partying evident by midnight I did very much enjoy this interlude! I did wonder how the pub made any money with so few customers though!
I just hope that Jonathan Boakes is not demoralized by negative comments & pushes forward with more of The Last Crown!
I very much enjoyed this, in fact I plan to play through it again come Halloween 
I just hope that Blackenrock will finally see the light of day come Yule as Jonathan posted on his facebook. That would be a great Christmas present!
