Adventure Game Scene of the Day - Tuesday, 27 September
I don’t know why I never finished Lost Horizon as it had everything I love in adventure games - globetrotting, historical background, adventure in its purest sense… Perhaps because later stages of the game are much more interesting and picturesque than the first half?!
Recently finished: Four Last Things 4/5, Edna & Harvey: The Breakout 5/5, Chains of Satinav 3,95/5, A Vampyre Story 88, Sam Peters 3/5, Broken Sword 1 4,5/5, Broken Sword 2 4,3/5, Broken Sword 3 85, Broken Sword 5 81, Gray Matter 4/5\nCurrently playing: Broken Sword 4, Keepsake (Let\‘s Play), Callahan\‘s Crosstime Saloon (post-Community Playthrough)\nLooking forward to: A Playwright’s Tale
It’s a game well worth finishing diego!
its holds its best (puzzle) at its end Diego!
Great game, and a terrific final chapter. You should finish it, Diego.
The truth can’t hurt you, it’s just like the dark: it scares you witless but in time you see things clear and stark. - Elvis Costello
Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka
I loved this game! Like Diego said, everything you could ask for in a true adventure! I remember how excited I was when I found out there was going to be a sequel. Unfortunately I never got around to playing it cause it got such bad reviews. Has anyone here played it and do you recommend giving it a try?
This message will self destruct in 3… 2… 1… BOOM!!!
I never finished it either. Something came up and it got put on the back burner. And it just never moved back to the front. I really should find a way to play this all the way to the end.
For whom the games toll,
they toll for thee.
Lost Horizon is a great game. But its sequel was terrible.
