Adventure Game Scene of the Day - Sunday, 1 May
My Sierra “campaign” started with their later games, so I might be biased, but I think that Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail! is a pinnacle of the series, and a brilliant game all around! One of Sierra’s best. And most importantly, it’ll teach you to sweat hard in order to win a woman’s heart! (or at least, see her naked )
Recently finished: Four Last Things 4/5, Edna & Harvey: The Breakout 5/5, Chains of Satinav 3,95/5, A Vampyre Story 88, Sam Peters 3/5, Broken Sword 1 4,5/5, Broken Sword 2 4,3/5, Broken Sword 3 85, Broken Sword 5 81, Gray Matter 4/5\nCurrently playing: Broken Sword 4, Keepsake (Let\‘s Play), Callahan\‘s Crosstime Saloon (post-Community Playthrough)\nLooking forward to: A Playwright’s Tale
Completely agreed. It was the entry where Al Lowe perfected the LSL formula. Too bad that it would be the last.
I bought this one used on eBay years ago, but never got around to playing it. One of these days…
Carpe chocolate.
I think you’ve got something wrong diego, today is Mother’s day, not Hot Mama’s day
Fun game, the only Sierra series that wrapped up with the best one?

Gabriel Knight definitely qualifies as well.
Hm, is it the best LSL? You need to deduct points for it being a retread of LSL6 on a ship.
Actually they should have called it LSL7: LSL6 On a Ship

I bet you have not even played LSL6.
perfect! you have just beaten your own record
Al Lowe just announced a new LSL game. LSL8 - The Quest for Advie’s Brain
He’s a troll, Advie. Let him stew in his own juice.
See you around, wolf. Nerissa
yea! i just regret standing up once for this piece of crap
Yes stand up for me and then call me retard and piece of crap. Who is the victim here?
Knock it off. Save the unpleasantries for outside these forums.
On-topic: I agree that this is the best game in the series, and indeed one of Sierra’s best titles.
I also agree that it’s basically LSL6 on a ship instead of in a resort, but there’s nothing wrong with that. Especially since this one is even better. And definitely a lot better to look at.
I had a lot of fun with “Where’s Waldo Dildo?” as well.
“Ow! I hate paper cuts…”
The truth can’t hurt you, it’s just like the dark: it scares you witless but in time you see things clear and stark. - Elvis Costello
Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka
it’s strange how one’s certain memory can be ruined easily
